Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Aron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pietro Masiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masiel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Masiel tries to stand but Aron is controlling from the bottom.
Aron throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Aron working a defensive guard but Masiel passes into half guard.
Masiel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Masiel tries to stand but can't do so whilst Aron controls his leg.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Aron gets the takedown into side control.
Aron goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Masiel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Aron but great work by Masiel.

Masiel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aron keeps working.
Aron manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Masiel is staying active underneath Aron, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Aron prevents Masiel from standing back up.
Aron works his way into full mount!
Masiel is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aron looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Aron is breathing heavily.
Aron looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Masiel bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Masiel wants to get up but he can't break Aron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Masiel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Masiel is looking to stand up but Aron won't let him.
Aron manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Aron moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Masiel has worked his arm free - good work by Masiel!

Aron misses with the ground and pound.
The referee asks Aron politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Aron prefers to stall for the moment though.
Masiel gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Masiel tries to buck Aron off but he can't manage it.
Aron moves to the back position.
Aron is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Masiel has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Aron has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Masiel taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Aron doesn't care though - he's delighted!
