The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikov throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Nikov instigates a clinch.
Nikov lands an uppercut.
Scott has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nikov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nikov throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Scott blocks it with crossed arms.
Nikov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Nikov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nikov throws a head kick that misses
and Scott counters with a leg kick.

Nikov moves into the clinch.
Nikov connects with a knee to the head.

Nikov lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Nikov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nikov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scott avoids the head kick by Nikov.
Nice body kick there by Nikov.

Nikov connects with a jab.
Scott slips a jab and a cross from Nikov.
Nikov lands a head kick. Scott smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Scott takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Scott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kalash Nikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott throws a leg kick but Nikov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nikov cracks Scott with a hook to the temple - Scott is on wobbly legs here! Nikov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Scott falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Nikov wins by TKO!
