Richard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gives You Hell. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaulieu throws a low kick, looking for Richard's leg but Richard calmly moves out of range.
Richard goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Beaulieu is rocked!
Richard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Beaulieu is still on wobbly legs! Can Richard finish him?
Richard tries to clinch up but Beaulieu circles away and keeps his distance.
Beaulieu seems to have recovered his senses.

and Richard counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Beaulieu is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Whack! Richard lands a heavy head kick that drops Beaulieu. The ref tackles Richard to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Beaulieu was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jean Paul Richard!
