Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tirawit Kokin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Kent!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kokin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kent misses with a low kick.
Kent throws a chopping leg kick but Kokin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kent misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kokin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kokin misses with a body kick.
Kokin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kent rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kokin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kent takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kent throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kent looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kokin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kent. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kent misses with an uppercut. Kokin saw that one coming.
Kokin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jim Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kokin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kent's hands.
Kokin lands a nice hook to Kent's body. Kent takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kokin wants to slow Kent down by chopping away at his legs.

Kent throws a head kick but Kokin moves out of range.
Kokin checks a leg kick.
Kokin lands with a good body shot.
Kent is looking to score with low kicks.
Kent shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kokin as he jumps to the side.
Kokin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kent fails with a takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kokin.
Kent looks gassed!
Kokin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That kick from Kokin tenderised Kent's leg. Kent is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kokin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kokin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kokin checks a leg kick.
Kent fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kokin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kokin lands a nice shot to the body.

Kokin drives through and clinches with Kent against the cage.
Kokin is leaning against Kent and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A body shot lands from Kokin.
Kokin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kokin lands with a left to the head.
Kent prevents a body shot from Kokin.
Kokin is pressed up against the cage. Kent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kokin down to the mat. Kokin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tirawit Kokin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Kent.
Kokin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kent. Kent circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tirawit Kokin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kokin blocks a leg kick.
Kokin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kent.
A low kick from Kent is predictable there
and Kokin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kent misses with a low kick as Kokin jumps back.

Kokin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kent connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kokin throws a low kick but Kent moves out of range easily.
Kokin blocks a head kick by Kent.
Kokin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kokin clinches.
Kent's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kokin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kokin can't find room to land a body shot as Kent controls the action.
Kokin misses with a punch on the inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Kokin.
Kokin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kent blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kokin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kent breaks from the clinch.
Kent throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kokin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kent's sensitive parts.
Kokin is looking to slow Kent down with leg kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick by Kent misses
and Kokin counters with a stiff right hand.
Kokin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kent closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kokin circles away.
Kent fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kokin avoids it really well and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kokin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kokin, right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tirawit Kokin dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Kokin throws a leg kick but Kent checks it.
Kent's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kokin throws a chopping leg kick but Kent manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kent will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kokin blocks a head kick by Kent.
An inside leg kick lands from Kokin.
Kokin checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kent fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kent is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kokin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kent.
Good exchange - Kokin coming out on top.
Kokin scores with a sloppy right hand. Kent should have avoided that one.
Kent throws a body kick that misses.
Kent closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Kent is rocked!
Kent lands a head kick. Kokin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kent is still on wobbly legs! Can Kokin finish him?
Kent is breathing heavily.
Kent takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kokin clinches with his opponent.
Kent blocks a body shot from Kokin.
Kent looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kokin digs a right hand into Kent's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kent's gas tank.
A left hand lands to the body for Kokin.
Kokin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kent backwards.
A right hook to the body lands for Kokin.
Kokin lands a shoulder strike.
Kokin softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Kokin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kokin struggles to land a body shot inside as Kent controls his hands.
Kent looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Kent breaks from the clinch.
Good work by Kokin as he checks the leg kick.
Kent will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kokin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kent.
Kent stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kokin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kokin. Kokin obviously looking to wear him down.
Kokin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kent.
The fighters circle, before Kokin throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kent's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kokin lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Tirawit Kokin!
After winning the bout, Tirawit Kokin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
