Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki's entrance music is Remember the Name. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Rutecki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Sinclair! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rutecki misses with a series of wild punches.
Rutecki throws a right and a left that both miss. Sinclair connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rutecki throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sinclair closes the distance and clinches up with Rutecki, looking for a takedown. Sinclair pushes Rutecki against the cage but Rutecki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rutecki tries to clinch up but Sinclair circles away and keeps his distance. Rutecki gets caught napping as Sinclair dives in and scores a takedown. Rutecki manages to retain guard. Rutecki wants to sweep here but Sinclair controlling him for the moment. Rutecki is looking to stand back up but Sinclair counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rutecki. Sinclair drops an elbow to the side of Rutecki's head. Sinclair controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinclair missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sinclair is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Sinclair prevents Rutecki from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sinclair moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Rutecki. Sinclair controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinclair working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sinclair in side control lands a decent elbow. Sinclair working the ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair lands a nice forearm strike. Rutecki throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
A lull in the action here as Sinclair stalls from top position. Rutecki is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sinclair asserts his dominance and retains side control. Rutecki is breathing heavily. Sinclair creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinclair takes a little break here. Rutecki wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Sinclair works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Sinclair is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rutecki has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sinclair controls the position from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Sinclair dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sinclair was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sinclair can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rutecki is looking to escape. Rutecki is bucking up trying to escape but Sinclair cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sinclair with the ground and pound from mount. Sinclair controlling the pace for now. Sinclair fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rutecki taking shots to the head. Sinclair controlling his opponent. Sinclair manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rutecki to take his back! Will Sinclair go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Sinclair connects with a big shot to the side of Rutecki's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rutecki covers up after that shot from Sinclair.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sinclair lands a shot to the head. Rutecki is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sinclair is punishing Rutecki with some ground and pound. Sinclair has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair scores with punches to the body. Sinclair really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rutecki. Sinclair lands an elbow to the side of the head. Rutecki is covering up but some of the strikes from Sinclair are getting through and doing damage.
Rutecki grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sinclair trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Rutecki doesn't escape. Sinclair has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinclair sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Rutecki taps out!
