The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto tries to clinch but Rampage is having none of it.
Rampage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Yamamoto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rampage pinned against the cage. Rampage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yamamoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Rampage tries to sprawl out of it but Yamamoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rampage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yamamoto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rampage to the mat! Rampage manages to get full guard.

Yamamoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rampage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kid Yamamoto.

Yamamoto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rampage tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yamamoto is in Rampage's guard.

Yamamoto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
