Sultanov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No Vaseline. Amir Sultanov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers misses with a two punch combination.
Sultanov tries to clinch up.
Sultanov moves in looking to clinch but Powers pushes him off.
Sultanov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Powers throws a hook but Sultanov blocks it.
Sultanov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Powers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sultanov but Sultanov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sultanov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Sultanov decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sultanov moves into range and clinches up with Powers.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Powers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Sultanov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sultanov thows a left - swing and a miss!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sultanov has his takedown stuffed
and Powers counters with a nice uppercut.
Powers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sultanov scores with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Amir Sultanov will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Screech Powers's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Powers keeps the fight on the outside.
Powers closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sultanov! Powers dives in looking to finish! Sultanov is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
