The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant stuns Altera with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Altera throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Durant.

It looks like Drake Durant has been cut.
Durant is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Altera.
Altera tries to clinch but Durant moves out of range.
A left lands for Durant.
Altera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Durant throws a big shot that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Durant connects with a jab.

It looks like Quartus Altera has been cut.
Durant looks to land a right hand but Altera moved out of range.
Altera tries to clinch but Durant moves away
and Durant connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Altera throws a right and a left that Durant avoids nicely.
Altera takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Altera defending well as Durant loads up on a big left hand.

After the fight, Drake Durant was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
