Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yousaf Kurracon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lupe Fiasco! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fiasco throws a nice looking combination but Kurracon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kurracon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Yousaf Kurracon has been cut. Fiasco cracks Kurracon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fiasco has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kurracon to stand back up!
Kurracon is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurracon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kurracon controlling the action here. Kurracon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fiasco can do anything to dispel that myth.
We're going to have a standup here because Yousaf Kurracon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kurracon moves out of range of the strikes. Fiasco throws a right and a left that Kurracon avoids nicely. Kurracon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurracon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fiasco looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kurracon controlling the action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kurracon is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kurracon controlling his opponent. Kurracon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Yousaf Kurracon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kurracon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kurracon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kurracon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kurracon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fiasco. Fiasco looks to land a body kick but Kurracon moved away. Fiasco takes a swing at Kurracon's ribcage but misses. Nice sprawl there from Fiasco as Kurracon shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yousaf Kurracon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kurracon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fiasco looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kurracon forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurracon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kurracon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lupe Fiasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fiasco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kurracon manages to avoid it. Yousaf Kurracon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fiasco swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kurracon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kurracon sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kurracon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fiasco lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kurracon has his takedown stuffed and Fiasco counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kurracon thinking. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fiasco fails to land with a series of punches.

Kurracon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fiasco's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kurracon has knee on belly and moves into mount. Kurracon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kurracon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fiasco as he avoids it easily. Fiasco gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kurracon to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kurracon controlling from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Yousaf Kurracon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kurracon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
