Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. James is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold.
James taking some punishment here, with Jackson in his half guard.
Jackson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks James with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold.
James is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jackson scores with a couple of nice shots.
James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jackson wants to pass to mount but James is defending the position.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. James doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.
James is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
James is breathing heavily.

James is defending against the submission attempts here by Jackson.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Jackson slips a nice elbow through James's hands, connecting with James's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jackson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Jackson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
James tries to get to full guard but Jackson has control of the leg.
Jackson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Jackson is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from James as he works his way to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson is looking for a kimura here.
James seems to have got his legs back now.

Jackson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jackson tries to pass the half guard into mount. James knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Jackson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Jackson misses with a hook. James ducked under it nicely.
Jesse James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
James looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jackson lands a right hand from hell, dropping James. Jackson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Jackson!
