The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua fails in his attempt to clinch.

Arona shoots in and bounces Rua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Arona really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rua slaps away a takedown attempt from Arona, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Arona swats away the attempt to clinch by Rua.

Arona gets tackled into the cage by Rua. Rua maintains the clinch.

Rua is pressed up against the cage. Arona has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rua down to the mat. Rua avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rua gets caught napping as Arona dives in and scores a takedown. Rua manages to retain guard.

Arona drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rua dives on top into guard.

Rua has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Arona to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rua is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Arona pulls down on the head and he's put Rua to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ricardo Arona!
