The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sole misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Giant thows a body shot but no joy.
Sole shoots in for a takedown but Giant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Giant slaps away a takedown attempt from Sole, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacks Sole. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sole lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Giant throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sole looks to score with a jab to the body but Giant is just out of range.
Giant misses with a looping right.
Sole blocks a low kick nicely.
Giant throws a leg kick but Sole moved away.
Good exchange - Giant coming out on top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sole lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Giant displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sole.
Giant throws an overhand right that lands on Sole's shoulder, as Sole tries to avoid the shot.

Giant thows a body shot but no joy.

Giant tries to keep at a distance but Sole has taken the fight into the clinch.
Giant lands an uppercut.
Giant tries a body shot but Sole blocks it.
Sole lands with a right to the head.
Sole throws a punch but it's blocked by Giant.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sole as Giant tries to tie him up.
Sole fails to pull guard.
Sole blocks a body shot from Giant.
Giant lands a right hand.
Giant is trying to maintain a safe position but Sole gets an underhook and turns Giant into the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Giant.
Sole gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Giant tries a body shot but Sole blocks it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sole looking for a takedown.
Sole tries to pull guard but Giant holds him up against the cage and eventually Sole drops back down to his feet.
Giant struggles to land a body shot inside as Sole controls his hands.

Giant misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sole misses with a hook from the clinch.
Sole wants a takedown.
Sole drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Giant gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Giant throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Soles head.
Sole has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Giant is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sole tries to land knees in the clinch but Giant avoids the damage to the body.
Sole has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Giant after a bit of a struggle.
Sole is breathing heavily.
Sole is working for takedown but Giant is calmly controlling the position for now.
Giant misses with a hook to the ribs.
Giant scores with a hook to the body.
Giant throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Giant can't find room to land a body shot as Sole controls the action.

Giant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Giant misses with a straight right.
Sole blocks a leg kick.

Giant pushes Sole away with a front kick.
Giant sizes up Sole with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Giant works Sole's body with a nice hook.
Giant connects with a body shot.
Sole on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Giant cracks Sole with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Giant throws a monster overhand right that drops Sole! Giant follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
