The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cox wants it to stay on the feet.
Cox connects with a solid leg kick.
Zbyszko throws a head kick that misses.

Cox closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zbyszko to the mat! Zbyszko manages to get full guard.
Cox is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Zbyszko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cox is stalling in the full guard.
Cox works over Zbyszko with some ground and pound from guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cox is pushing down on Zbyszko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zbyszko is fighting to maintain full guard but Cox has managed to sneak the leg through.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zbyszko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cox is working for a submission of some sort.
Zbyszko is trying to get back to full guard.
Zbyszko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zbyszko is looking for a sweep. Cox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zbyszko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Zbyszko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Zbyszko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cox pulls his head out easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cox lands a nice short elbow.
Cox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zbyszko is trying to get back to full guard.

Cox is working for a kimura but Zbyszko is defending it quite comfortably.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Zbyszko has eaten all the pies!

Cox passes to side control.

Zbyszko looks to move to half guard but instead Cox has passed into mount! Damn!

Cox is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Zbyszko is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Zbyszko flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cox anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Zbyszko and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cox slips an arm under Zbyszko chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cox has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cox is squeezing on Zbyszko like an anaconda would it's prey. Zbyszko fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
