Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goran Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Sablich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Goran Sablich! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sablich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Schwarzeneg looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sablich fails with a takedown attempt. Sablich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schwarzeneg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sablich wants to get back to his feet.
Sablich is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sablich sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Schwarzeneg is thwarting Sablich's attempts to control the position.

Sablich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwarzeneg tries to avoid it but Sablich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwarzeneg to the ground. OK we're going to have a standup here. Goran Sablich hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sablich lands a really nice looking cross but Schwarzeneg seems unphased.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sablich has eaten all the pies! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sablich stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sablich looks for a takedown but Schwarzeneg sprawls well. Sablich shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schwarzeneg as he avoids it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sablich takes the fight into the clinch. Sablich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Goran Sablich dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sablich fails to land the takedown. Sablich shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sablich showed some decent athleticism there. Sablich is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Sablich lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Sablich trying to control but Schwarzeneg is having none of it. Sablich cracks Schwarzeneg with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sablich landing strikes, looking to finish! Sablich throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Schwarzeneg takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Sablich trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sablich stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sablich scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sablich has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. This has been an exciting period of action! Schwarzeneg circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sablich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - Sablich looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sablich moves into range and clinches up with Schwarzeneg. Sablich wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Schwarzeneg has him pressed against the cage. Sablich turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sablich manages to end up in side control. Sablich decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sablich clobbers Schwarzeneg with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Schwarzeneg keeps the fight on the outside. Sablich shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schwarzeneg defends it nicely. Nice takedown defense from Schwarzeneg. No joy for Sablich on that attempt. Goran Schwarzeneg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goran Sablich. Sablich fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Schwarzeneg ducks under a wild hook from Sablich. Sablich swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sablich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sablich frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sablich looking to control but Schwarzeneg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schwarzeneg is working to get back to half guard.

Schwarzeneg jumps guard but Sablich turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Sablich has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Schwarzeneg uses from the top position. Sablich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schwarzeneg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sablich tries to strike from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Goran Sablich comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sablich has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
