Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Benotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Nich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nich's choice of entrance music: This Calling. Tommy Nich will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nich gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Benotti looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Benotti shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Nich bucks up and throws Benotti to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nich seems a little lost for a moment, as Benotti dominates the positioning.

Nich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Benotti is looking to take a break and control but Nich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lucio Benotti will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Benotti shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nich as he jumps to the side.
Lucio Benotti is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Benotti shoots in and bounces Nich off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nich manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Benotti tries to hold on but Nich postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nich has isolated one of Benotti's arms. Benotti looking to fight him off but Nich twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
