7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominic Ferrari! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalevi misses with a body shot.
Kalevi lands a jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kalevi is defended easily by Ferrari. Kalevi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ferrari is trying to defend but Kalevi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ferrari looking for a kimura from the bottom but Kalevi passes into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrari tries to buck Kalevi off but Kalevi is having none of it. Ferrari is trying to control Kalevi's posture but Kalevi avoids it. Ferrari is looking for a sweep. Ferrari is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ferrari manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ferrari is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kalevi sees it coming and defends easily. Kalevi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kalevi wants to get back to his feet.

Ferrari has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ferrari is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kalevi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kalevi shrugs it off. Ferrari looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalevi wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ferrari.

Ferrari is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kalevi is surviving well by controlling Ferrari's body position as best he can. Kalevi tries to buck Ferrari off but he can't manage it. Ferrari scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ferrari goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kalevi is on top in guard.
Kalevi won't allow Ferrari to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferrari keeping moving, preventing Kalevi from controlling successfully. Kalevi won't allow Ferrari to sweep him here. Kalevi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kalevi shoots in looking for a takedown but Ferrari manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kalevi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Nice takedown defense from Ferrari. No joy for Kalevi on that attempt. Ferrari fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kalevi is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferrari scores with a takedown into Kalevi's guard. Ferrari pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kalevi is keeping the position for now. Dominic Ferrari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

He's got his arms around Ferrari's waist but Ferrari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalevi off to one side.
