Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Dront (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Dront will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, The Dront!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dront tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaw paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dront tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shaw really is a fat lump.
Shaw rushes Dront and presses him up against the cage.
Shaw is leaning against Dront and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Shaw goes for a takedown attempt but Dront pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dront clinches but Shaw breaks the clinch
so Shaw counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dront is trying to keep Shaw in close.
Shaw controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Shaw has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Shaw decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dront closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Shaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Dront is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dront throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dront wants to clinch but Shaw slips to the side
and Shaw counters by moving into the clinch.
Shaw content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Dront lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Shaw tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dront just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dront is trying to maintain a safe position but Shaw gets an underhook and turns Dront into the cage.

Dront really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shaw is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dront!
Dront is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Shaw has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dront's face.
Dront wants to control but Shaw is having none of it.
Dront might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shaw kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Dront tries to reverse the position but Shaw maintains control.
Dront is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Shaw dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dront throws a series of strikes that have Shaw backpedaling.

Oh Shaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Shaw counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dront is looking for a sweep. Shaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dront is pushing Shaw's head away, looking to escape. Shaw manages to hold on to the position though.

Shaw just content to control the position.
Shaw is looking to take a break and control but Dront is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dront is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shaw is controlling him well.
Dront tries to buck Shaw off but Shaw is having none of it.
Dront is pushing Shaw's head away, looking to escape. Shaw manages to hold on to the position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dront tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Shaw counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A short body shot lands from Dront as the two fighters clinch.
Dront can't break the clinch.
Shaw is stalling here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dront.
Shaw decides to pull guard.
Shaw pulls Dront in to control the position.
Dront looking to sit in guard and control but Shaw gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dront is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Shaw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Shaw has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Shaw tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dront is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Steven Shaw will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Shaw counters with a shoot takedown. Dront fights it but they end up in guard.
Shaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Shaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Shaw tries to score a body lock takedown but Dront shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
