A fine choice. Money has chosen Triumph by Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money swinging wildly here.
Money steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Montoya. That one must have hurt.
Money takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Money shoots in and drives through. Montoya sprawls well.
Montoya scores with the left hand. Money knows he should have avoided that one.
Montoya lands with a cross.
Montoya is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


It looks like Trey Money has been cut.
Montoya scores with a sloppy right hand. Money should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A good leg kick by Montoya.
Montoya throws a nice outside leg kick.
Money moves forwards but Montoya connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Montoya takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Montoya connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheers as Montoya lands an impressive looking overhand right. Money doesn't seem phased though.
Montoya dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Money. That did some damage!
Money looks for a takedown but Montoya sprawls well.

Montoya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Money shoots for a double leg takedown but Montoya sprawls well. He's pushed Money's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carlito Montoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Money.
A solid leg kick lands there for Montoya.
Money looks gassed!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Montoya turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That has opened up Trey Money's cut even more.

Montoya fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Money.

Montoya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Money.
Montoya explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Montoya lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Montoya thuds his shin into the meat of Money's side.
Montoya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Money.


The cut above Trey Money's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Carlito Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montoya scoring well with a low kick there.
Montoya throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
An inside leg kick lands from Montoya.
Montoya tests Money's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Montoya jabs Money right on the nose. Money blinks but takes it well.
Montoya lands a front kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Money crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Montoya - the referee stops the clock and Money gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Montoya. Money manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Money takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Montoya lands a two punch combo.
Montoya scores with a head kick.


Trey Money's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Money chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Montoya can pounce on him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Montoya plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trey Money's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Carlito Montoya!
