Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mali Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blair has chosen Bullet by Creed as his entrance music. Mali Fedor had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mali Fedor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Blair!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair avoids the head kick by Fedor.
Fedor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blair has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Blair throws a hook but Fedor avoids it easily.
Blair circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blair fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Blair throws a right and a left that both miss.

Fedor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fedor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Blair blocks it with crossed arms.

Blair breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Fedor.
Blair throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fedor tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Blair counters with a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blair fails to land with a series of punches.
Blair lands with a cross.
Blair fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fedor is out of range.
Blair scores with a shot to the body.
Fedor moves in looking to clinch but Blair pushes him off.

Blair misses with a looping left.
Blair lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blair throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fedor gets a clinch.
Fedor with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Blair lands with a left to the head.
Blair has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Blair wants to break the clinch but can't.

Fedor throws a head kick that misses.

A clash of legs there as Blair blocks the low kick.
Blair looks to score with a jab to the body but Fedor is just out of range.
Fedor throws a front kick aimed at Blair's knee but Blair avoids it well.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fedor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blair - the referee stops the clock and Fedor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blair. Fedor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Blair throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blair is looking to chop away at Fedor's legs.
Blair ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fedor moves away.
Blair throws a jab but it's blocked by Fedor.
Blair circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fedor throws a head kick that misses.
Blair checks the leg kick nicely there.

Blair throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Blair avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blair stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fedor is looking to clinch.
Fedor slips a straight right by Blair.
Blair feints a jab promting Fedor to slip. Blair then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fedor slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fedor throws a leg kick but Blair moved away.
Fedor tries to clinch up.
Fedor blocks a low kick nicely.
Blair moves out of range of the body kick from Fedor.
Fedor tries to clinch there but Blair circles away.
Fedor lands a leg kick that knocks Blair off balance momentarily.
Fedor tries to land a leg kick but Blair saw it coming and moves away.
Blair swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fedor tries to work over Blair's front leg with a kick but Blair checks it.
Blair looks to land a combination but Fedor avoids it well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blair lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Blair is looking to land body kicks.
Blair checks a low kick from Fedor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hank Blair dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Blair lands a really nice looking cross but Fedor seems unphased.


Fedor is rocked!
Blair throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fedor clean off his feet! He's out cold! Blair stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hank Blair!
A determined Hank Blair didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
