Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Gers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Top Tea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gers comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Trooper. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Gers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Top Tea! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tea has a takedown stuffed. Gers throws a big shot that misses. Gers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tea is trying to defend but Gers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gers thows a huge punch but Tea dodges it nicely.
Tea regains full guard. Nicely done. Gers trying to control but Tea is working from the bottom. Gers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tea on the ground. Gers wants to pass the guard but Tea is keeping the position. Gers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gers preventing the sweep. Gers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tea has his foot on Gers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gers works his way back into a safe position though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tea looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tea wants to sweep but no luck. Tea has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tea controls Gers momentarily but Gers frees himself. Gers throwing strikes but missing. Tea keeping full guard, as Gers tries to pass. Gers works over Tea with some ground and pound from guard. Tea working for a triangle but Gers defends it easily.
Tea is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tea is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tea throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gers is in trouble now - Tea has advanced to mount! Gers really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tea is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gers is surviving well by controlling Tea's body position as best he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gers takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Gers is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gers is squirming around, avoiding Tea's attempts to control the action. A nice elbow there by Tea. Tea fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tea is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gers can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gers tries to hold on but Tea postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tea breaks from Gers's wrist control and lands an elbow. Gers is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tea with shots to the head and body - Gers looks very uncomfortable down there. Gers can't escape the position.
Tea has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tea working Gers over with strikes here. Gers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action! Tea looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The referee warns Gers that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tea lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gers is rocked! Gers is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tea landing punches. Oh Gers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gers takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Tea's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
