The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Action moves into the clinch.
Ortiz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Action to keep the fight standing.
Action is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Ortiz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Action as he jumps to the side.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rock Action just wasn't active enough.

Action drives through and clinches with Ortiz against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ortiz tries to pull guard but Action won't allow it.
Action throws a knee to the head but misses.
Action unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ortiz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Action lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Action gets through Ortiz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Action landing knees to the head.
Ortiz is trying to force a seperation but Action has the dominant position.

Action breaks the clinch.

Ortiz tries to keep at a distance but Action has taken the fight into the clinch.

Action breaks from the clinch.

Action has taken the fight to the clinch.
Action connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ortiz's face.

Ortiz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Action is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ortiz to the mat. Ortiz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ortiz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Action controls the pace.
Action seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ortiz for as long as he can get away with.
Rock Action overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Action stands and throws Ortiz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Action stands up and beckons Ortiz to his feet.
Action scores with a nice strike.

and Action counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ortiz!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ortiz is rocked!

Action closes the distance looking for a takedown. Ortiz stuffs it but Action still has hold of him. Action picks Ortiz up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Action slams Ortiz to the floor and that's really hurt Ortiz - he doesn't know where he is! Action throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rock Action!
