Carter keeps the fight on the outside.
Carter misses with an uppercut. Santana saw that one coming.
Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santana.
Carter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Santana counters with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Santana as Carter shoots in.
Carter has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Santana.
Carter tries to land a front kick but Santana steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing.
Santana throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Carter.
Santana throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Santana pushes Carter away with a front kick.
Carter is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Santana lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carter at a distance.
Carter walks into a jab.
Santana tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Santana darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Carter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carter takes a kick to the side of the head.
Santana checks the leg kick nicely there.
Carter misses with a series of wild punches.
Carter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santana throws a nice head kick!
Carter is rocked!
It looks like Jerome Carter has been cut.
Carter misses with a double jab
and Santana counters with a huge head kick that drops Carter! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
