Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Veron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Veron! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Harris. Those never looked like landing. Harris throws a looping overhand right but Veron ducks down to avoid it. Veron shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Veron throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Harris wants to clinch and Veron counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Veron manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Harris misses with a head kick.
Veron with a lazy takedown attempt and Harris makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Veron really felt that one! Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Veron looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Thomas Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Veron. Veron looks gassed! Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris gets to mount! Veron was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Harris content just to control the position here. Harris lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Veron hang on? Harris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Veron wants to hold on but Harris pushes him away. Harris lands a big elbow. Veron holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harris tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Harris controlling the pace for now. Veron wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harris.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris controlling the pace for now. Veron is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Harris controlling from the full mount. Veron is looking to improve his position but Harris isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Veron gets back to half guard. Harris working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Veron's thigh. Veron counters though and makes it back to full guard. Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Veron on the ground. Harris wants to get up but he can't break Veron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Veron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Harris dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Veron fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Harris as Veron shoots in. Veron misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Veron drives through with a takedown into Harris's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Harris controlling Veron's posture. Harris is striking off his back. Veron thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veron not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris moves into full guard.
Veron is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Veron advances position into side control! Veron is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to improve his position. Veron is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Harris has escaped the position, nice work there. Harris is trying to improve his position. Veron connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Harris some visible discomfort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Veron putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Harris is trying to escape the mount.
Veron wants to finish this one by submission but Harris is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Veron. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Veron lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Veron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Thomas Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Veron.
Danga de danga de dang - Veron scores with a four punch combination! Harris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Harris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Harris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Veron on his heels. He'll look to pass Veron's guard now, I'm sure. Veron not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Veron has his feet on Harris's thighs here. He's pushed Harris off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Harris screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
