Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ruricovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Aaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Ruricovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Aaron! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aaron will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Horrible takedown by Ruricovich or perhaps it was just good defense by Aaron which made him look bad. Aaron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Aaron looking to control but Ruricovich is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Aaron wants to get back to his feet but Ruricovich is holding on tight.
Aaron has control of Ruricovich's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ruricovich regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Aaron with a couple of short strikes. Ruricovich is in all sorts of trouble here.
Aaron tries to control but Ruricovich wriggling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aaron landing strikes from the mount. Ruricovich is trying to escape the mount.

Aaron wants to control the pace but Ruricovich is squirming around nicely. Ruricovich is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Aaron with a couple of short strikes. Aaron is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ruricovich tries to reverse the position but Aaron maintains control. Aaron can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ruricovich is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aaron is in the full mount, landing strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruricovich is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ruricovich wants to get back to his feet.
Aaron looking to control but Ruricovich is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ruricovich tries to hold on but Aaron pushes him away. Ruricovich is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aaron takes Ruricovich's back. Aaron biding his time, looking for the opening.
Ruricovich grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Ruricovich has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Aaron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruricovich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Aaron's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Aaron is riding his opponent, not letting Ruricovich buck him off. Ruricovich is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aaron is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ruricovich. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Aaron wants to control but Ruricovich manages to buck him off and is now in Aaron's guard! Nice work there by Ruricovich! Ruricovich preventing the sweep. Aaron trying to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Adam Aaron wasn't active enough on the ground. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aaron lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ruricovich has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ruricovich and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Aaron ducks right into an uppercut from Ruricovich. Aaron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ruricovich changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aaron looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Aaron looks gassed! Aaron seems a little lost for a moment, as Ruricovich dominates the positioning. Ruricovich thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Aaron dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A clash of legs there as Ruricovich blocks the low kick. Ruricovich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aaron but Aaron pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aaron tries for a takedown but Ruricovich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sloppy strikes from Aaron. Those never looked like landing. Aaron is looking to clinch. Aaron tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ruricovich manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Aaron shoots in and bounces Ruricovich off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Aaron throws a strike but Ruricovich rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruricovich decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Aaron, up you get! Ruricovich shoots in looking for a takedown but Aaron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruricovich's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Aaron misses with a low kick. Ruricovich closes the distance and clinches. Aaron is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ruricovich to keep the fight standing. Aaron has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Aaron tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ivan Ruricovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Aaron. Aaron is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ruricovich to keep the fight standing. Aaron is breathing heavily. Ruricovich gets control of Aaron's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ruricovich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Aaron controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Adam Aaron has got the better of the ground game so far. Ruricovich striking off his back but it's not causing Aaron any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aaron scoring with some ground and pound. Aaron won't allow Ruricovich to get back to his feet. Aaron trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ruricovich's guard. Ruricovich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruricovich working for a triangle but Aaron defends it easily.
Aaron wants to stand but Ruricovich is controlling his posture from full guard.

Aaron wants to control from the top but Ruricovich keeps moving. Aaron has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ruricovich is proving hard to escape from. Ruricovich is trying to control the position but Aaron postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aaron passes Ruricovich's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ruricovich kicks Aaron off and gets back to his feet. Aaron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Aaron tries to control but Ruricovich wriggling away. Ruricovich manages to regain half guard. Good work. Aaron tries to stand but his arm is trapped. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ruricovich is trying to stand back up but Aaron is controlling him

A close second round but Adam Aaron will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Aaron fails in his attempt to clinch. Aaron wants to clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ruricovich is defended easily by Aaron. Ruricovich blocks the body kick.
Ruricovich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aaron counters with a one-two to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aaron. Aaron throws a lazy head kick and Ruricovich counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Ruricovich throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aaron trying to keep a closed guard but Ruricovich is proving a slippery customer.
Ruricovich missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ruricovich is looking to work some ground and pound but Aaron has wrist control. Ruricovich postures up.
Ruricovich postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Aaron looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ruricovich drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aaron looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aaron looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aaron! Aaron has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Ruricovich shoots in for a takedown but Aaron shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Ruricovich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aaron shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ruricovich but Ruricovich pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aaron moves in looking to clinch but Ruricovich pushes him off. Aaron looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ivan Ruricovich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Aaron keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Aaron tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ruricovich manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ruricovich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aaron tries to avoid it but Ruricovich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aaron to the ground. Aaron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aaron shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ruricovich napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aaron wants to control but Ruricovich is keeping him busy. Ruricovich manages to get back to half guard. Ruricovich pushes Aaron off and gets back to his feet. Ruricovich fails with the takedown. Aaron looks for a takedown but Ruricovich sprawls well. Ruricovich gets the takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aaron manages to get back to half guard. Ruricovich works his way into side control. Ruricovich working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aaron is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ruricovich is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aaron is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Aaron manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ivan Ruricovich. I think Aaron has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
