Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Kobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Chepakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobra finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chepakov tries for a takedown but Kobra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chepakov rushes Kobra and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chepakov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kobra smiles and moves away.
George Kobra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kobra fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chepakov checks it well.

Kobra could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

George Kobra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anatoli Chepakov.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kobra controls Chepakov momentarily but Chepakov frees himself.

Chepakov postures up in Kobra's guard and throws a big left but Kobra blocks it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chepakov is looking to clinch but Kobra is avoiding it.
Chepakov gets tackled into the cage by Kobra. Kobra maintains the clinch.
Kobra is trying to force a seperation but Chepakov has the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kobra has a couple of punches blocked by Chepakov.
Chepakov jumps guard but Kobra stands there with Chepakov around his waist. Chepakov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Chepakov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kobra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kobra throws a wild body kick that Chepakov sees coming a mile off.
George Kobra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chepakov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Chepakov is trying to drag Kobra to the mat but Kobra just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chepakov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chepakov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kobra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chepakov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that George Kobra will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chepakov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kobra's guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Chepakov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Anatoli Chepakov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Chepakov can't keep his opponent in guard - Kobra advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kobra is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Chepakov makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chepakov.
Kobra looking to sit in guard and control but Chepakov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kobra wants to hit a switch here but Chepakov passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kobra there!

Chepakov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kobra can't escape the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kobra tries to control Chepakov's body but Chepakov pushes him off. Kobra squirms to his side and now Chepakov has his back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chepakov is looking for the choke from the back position but Kobra is controlling his hands well.
Chepakov is throwing shots to the body but Kobra manages to wriggle free. Chepakov pounces on him again and ends up in Kobra's guard.

Anatoli Chepakov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chepakov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
