Skipetrova has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Vladislav Skipetrova will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wilson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skipetrova sprawls well. Skipetrova wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skipetrova as he jumps to the side.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Wilson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Wilson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Skipetrova walks away with a smile on his face. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wilson throws a series of punches but Skipetrova avoids them all with ease.
Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skipetrova sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat.

and Skipetrova counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wilson is breathing heavily.
Wilson dives in and grabs Skipetrova's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skipetrova pushes down on Wilson's head and hops out.
Wilson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wilson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Skipetrova wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wilson has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
