Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Padraig O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Lafunete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafunete closes this distance looking for a takedown but O Hare circles away.
Gerard Lafunete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lafunete lands with a right hand.
Lafunete shoots in and gets a takedown into O Hare's guard.

Lafunete is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of O Hare's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take O Hare's back!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

That was a close round but I would say that Padraig O Hare will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lafunete can do anything to dispel that myth.
