Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PE tries to clinch there but Petrovas circles away.
PE shoots in looking for a takedown but Petrovas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing PE's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Petrovas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. PE manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

PE drives through and clinches with Petrovas against the cage.

Petrovas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
PE PE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
PE tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petrovas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Petrovas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. PE defends it nicely.

PE PE has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasilijus Petrovas.
Petrovas throws a head kick but PE moves out of range.
PE closes the distance and pushes Petrovas back into the cage.
PE really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petrovas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
PE steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Petrovas is out on his feet! PE sets himself and nearly takes Petrovas's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). PE PE!
