Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Poddybniy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bla Bla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bla has chosen I'm gonna live forever as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Ivan Poddybniy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Poddybniy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bla misses with a takedown attempt
and Poddybniy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Bla has his takedown stuffed
and Poddybniy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bla's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Poddybniy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Poddybniy looking to sit in guard and control but Bla gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Poddybniy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bla can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bla is looking to stand up but Poddybniy isn't so interested in that idea.
Poddybniy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bla dives on top into guard.
Poddybniy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bla defends it easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bla wants to control from the top but Poddybniy keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bla controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Poddybniy striking off his back but it's not causing Bla any problems.
Poddybniy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bla passes into half guard.

Bla is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Poddybniy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Bla postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Poddybniy in real trouble here! The ref calls for Poddybniy to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
