Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Damiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roxas Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leandro Damiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damiao takes the fight into the clinch.
Jordan tries to break the clinch but Damiao is controlling the position.
Damiao successfully pulls guard.
Jordanis looking to pass into half guard but Damiao pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Damiao is in guard.
Damiao gets to his feet. Jordan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jordan is defended easily by Damiao.
Damiao misses with a looping left.
Jordan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Damiao counters with a body kick.
A jab from Damiao finds it's way through Jordan's defenses.
It looks like Roxas Jordan has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Damiao tries to close the distance and clinch but Jordan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Damiao plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Damiao lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jordan's sensitive parts.
Jordan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Damiao counters with a nice uppercut.
Jordan looks gassed!
Damiao keeps the fight on the outside.
Jordan fails with the takedown.
Leandro Damiao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roxas Jordan.
No luck for Jordan with that takedown attempt.
Damiao gets a clinch.
Jordan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Damiao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Leandro Damiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Damiao bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Oooooh!!! Damiao has knocked Jordan down with a huge combo! Damiao steps away and waves a wobbly Jordan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Damiao lands a big head kick that sends Jordan tumbling to the mat! Damiao takes a step backwards and waves Jordan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jordan is still on wobbly legs! Can Damiao finish him?
Damiao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jordan, pushing him back against the cage.
Damiao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jordan seems to have recovered his senses.
Damiao rushes Jordan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Damiao successfully pulls guard.
Damiao scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Damiao.
Damiao rushes Jordan and presses him up against the cage.
Damiao lands an elbow just above Jordan 's eye.
That has opened up Roxas Jordan's cut even more.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Damiao obliges.
Damiao breaks the clinch.
Jordan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Damiao lands a left and a right that send Jordan crashing to the mat, dazed. Damiao thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Damiao drives through and clinches with Jordan against the cage.
Damiao ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Damiao no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Damiao manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Damiao lands a nice looking body kick.
Damiao has managed to clinch.
Damiao tries to score a body lock takedown but Jordan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Damiao with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Jordan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Damiao.
Damiao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jordan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Damiao.
Jordan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Damiao is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jordan.
Damiao rushes Jordan and presses him up against the cage.
Damiao manages to break the clinch.
Damiao moves into range and clinches up with Jordan.
Damiao lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
The cut above Roxas Jordan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Damiao ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Damiao no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Damiao wriggles free and stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Roxas Jordan's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Damiao forces Jordan back against the cage and clinches.
Damiao's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Damiao counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Damiao dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jordan. That did some damage!
Damiao will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Damiao gets control of Jordan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Damiao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jordan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Damiao pushes Jordan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Damiao counters with an outside leg kick.

Damiao has Jordan pressed against the cage, preventing Jordan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Damiao wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Damiao has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jordan after a bit of a struggle.

Jordan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Damiao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That kick from Damiao tenderised Jordan's leg. Jordan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jordan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Damiao sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Damiao goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Roxas Jordan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Damiao swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jordan.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Roxas Jordan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Leandro Damiao!
