Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Jooginz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Rock!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jooginz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rock looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Andrew Jooginz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jooginz here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Rock throws a one two combo.
Rock loads up on a big right hand but Jooginz slips the punch.
Jooginz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rock to score with a decent uppercut.

Rock drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jooginz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rock swings wildly with an uppercut but Jooginz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Come on Jooginz - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Jooginz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Rock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jooginz shoots in looking for a takedown. Rock tries to sprawl out of it but Jooginz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jooginz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rock throws a lazy right hand but Jooginz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rock fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jooginz shoots for a double leg takedown but Rock sprawls well. He's pushed Jooginz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rock connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jooginz. Jooginz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jooginz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
