Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiro Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Ololoshenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ololoshenkov has chosen Vse idet po planu as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshiro Gomi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Igor Ololoshenkov! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ololoshenkov slaps away a takedown attempt from Gomi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ololoshenkov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ololoshenkov lands a nice looking body shot.

Gomi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Ololoshenkov counter with a right hand. Gomi shoots in for a takedown but Ololoshenkov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshiro Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ololoshenkov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gomi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gomi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ololoshenkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gomi. Ololoshenkov stuffs the takedown attempt from Gomi. Gomi gets slowly back to his feet. Gomi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ololoshenkov's waist but Ololoshenkov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gomi off to one side. Igor Ololoshenkov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ololoshenkov defends it nicely. Ololoshenkov throws a jab but it's blocked by Gomi. Nice cross by Ololoshenkov. Ololoshenkov throws a right hand that Gomi ducks under and follows up with a left that Gomi also avoids with ease. Gomi fails with the takedown. Ololoshenkov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gomi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ololoshenkov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ololoshenkov tries a body shot but Gomi blocks it.
Ololoshenkov lands an elbow that stopped Gomi in his tracks for a moment. Ololoshenkov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ololoshenkov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Gomi is working for takedown but Ololoshenkov is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ololoshenkov. Ololoshenkov doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ololoshenkov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Gomi wants a takedown but no success here.
Gomi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ololoshenkov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gomi misses the shot to the body. Gomi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ololoshenkov.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gomi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fighters circling - Ololoshenkov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ololoshenkov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gomi. Gomi staying out of range there. Nice sprawl there from Ololoshenkov as Gomi shoots in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ololoshenkov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Ololoshenkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gomi. Ololoshenkov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here. Ololoshenkov is trying to improve his position. Gomi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ololoshenkov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gomi's guard! Nice work there by Ololoshenkov!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ololoshenkov wanted to stand there but Gomi had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gomi wants to sweep here but Ololoshenkov controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ololoshenkov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gomi's guard. Ololoshenkov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gomi wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ololoshenkov tries to stand but Gomi is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igor Ololoshenkov dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ololoshenkov thuds his right hand into Gomi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ololoshenkov tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ololoshenkov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gomi looks for a takedown but Ololoshenkov sprawls well. Gomi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ololoshenkov. Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown but Ololoshenkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gomi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ololoshenkov misses with a lunging right hand
and Gomi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gomi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ololoshenkov is keeping the position for now. Gomi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gomi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ololoshenkov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomi stopping the sweep attempt from Ololoshenkov. Gomi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ololoshenkov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gomi has Ololoshenkov in his guard. Ololoshenkov tries to stand but Gomi is controlling from the bottom. Gomi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ololoshenkov!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gomi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ololoshenkov is now in Gomi's guard. A big mistake from Gomi there, giving up the dominant position! Gomi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gomi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gomi working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomi content just to control the position here. Gomi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ololoshenkov has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gomi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ololoshenkov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ololoshenkov is looking to improve his position but Gomi isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomi fails to move to back control. Ololoshenkov is squirming around, avoiding Gomi's attempts to control the action. Ololoshenkov looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Gomi keeps control of the position as Ololoshenkov tries to break free.
Ololoshenkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gomi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ololoshenkov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ololoshenkov is in a bad position with Gomi working for a choke. Ololoshenkov manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshiro Gomi dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Horrible takedown by Gomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Ololoshenkov which made him look bad. The fight stays on the outside here - Ololoshenkov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomi is defended easily by Ololoshenkov. Gomi shoots in but no luck this time. Gomi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ololoshenkov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gomi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ololoshenkov throws a body punch but Gomi moves out of range. Gomi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ololoshenkov circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ololoshenkov swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gomi counters with a left to the body. Gomi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gomi misses with a takedown attempt and Ololoshenkov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Donk. Ololoshenkov catches Gomi right on the button with a cross. Gomi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ololoshenkov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gomi ducks under a wild hook from Ololoshenkov. Gomi fails with the takedown. Ololoshenkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ololoshenkov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Yoshiro Gomi has been cut. Ololoshenkov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gomi sprawling to the canvas! Gomi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ololoshenkov finish him?!
Gomi is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ololoshenkov knocks out Gomi with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Ololoshenkov before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Ololoshenkov picks up the big W with a huge KO!
