Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christoph Janetzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Janetzky might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Escapado - Montgomery Mundtot. Harrison Christopher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harrison Christopher!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopher fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Janetzky to the ground. Christopher is now in Janetzky's guard.
Christopher stops Janetzky from standing up.
Christopher controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Christopher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Christopher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Harrison Christopher.
Janetzky shoots in and gets a takedown into Christopher's guard.
Christopher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Janetzky shoots in and bounces Christopher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Janetzky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Janetzky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Christopher looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Christopher looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Christopher!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Janetzky is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Christopher asserts his dominance and retains side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Christopher shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Janetzky is trying to defend but Christopher finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Christopher is taking a breather. Janetzky says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Janetzky pushes Christopher off looking to stand but Christopher dives back in and keeps control.

Christopher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Christopher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Christopher looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harrison Christopher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Christopher looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Janetzky can't hide his disappointment, as Christopher celebrates the victory.
