The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chavez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ballakh ducks under a wild hook from Chavez.
Ballakh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Chavez.
Chavez misses with the combination.
Chavez throws a head kick that misses.
Ballakh moves in looking to clinch but Chavez pushes him off.
Ballakh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chavez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chavez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ballakh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chavez but Chavez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chavez stuffs the takedown attempt from Ballakh. Ballakh gets slowly back to his feet.
Ballakh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chavez misses with a two punch combination.

Chavez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chavez connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ballakh! He's out on his feet! Chavez rushes in and drops Ballakh with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
