Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shake Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sinclair is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 50 Cent - Get Up. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dennis Sinclair was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shake Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Sinclair! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sinclair. Dennis Sinclair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Sinclair moves out of range easily. Sinclair closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Sinclair pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sinclair shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones drives through and clinches with Sinclair against the cage.
Sinclair fails to pull guard.
Shake Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Sinclair. Jones pulls guard successfully.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Sinclair from controlling successfully. Jones looking to control.
Sinclair pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sinclair accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinclair passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sinclair wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Sinclair closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sinclair tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage. Sinclair tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Jones has hold of one of Sinclair's legs. Sinclair is fighting the takedown attempt but Jones gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Sinclair working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Sinclair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones looking to pass the guard. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinclair looking for a sweep. Not yet Sinclair, not yet. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Sinclair. Sinclair keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Sinclair wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Sinclair closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones counters with a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Sinclair looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sinclair swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sinclair is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones postures up in Sinclair's guard and throws a big left but Sinclair blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stands and steps away. Sinclair gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A head kick lands from Jones that sends Sinclair to the canvas. Sinclair tries to scramble back to his feet but Jones brings him back down into side control.
Sinclair is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Sinclair has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones happy to just control the position for now. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jones decides to stand back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sinclair closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sinclair's guard. Sinclair has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jones has passed into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shake Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dennis Sinclair's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Jones clinches. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Sinclair misses with a takedown attempt and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sinclair is trying to get back to full guard. Sinclair is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! Sinclair keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sinclair has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sinclair! Sinclair with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones keeping moving, preventing Sinclair from controlling successfully. Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sinclair is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top! Sinclair can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sinclair is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Sinclair is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jones is working for a kimura but Sinclair is defending it quite comfortably.
Shake Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones is pressing down on Sinclair's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sinclair is holding on for now. Jones is working hard here to advance position. Sinclair wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones stops Sinclair from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones throws a low kick but Sinclair avoids it. Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Sinclair has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sinclair is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sinclair is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jones controlling the pace for now. Sinclair defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinclair is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sinclair tries to improve his position but instead Jones has taken his back! Sinclair turns into Jones and is now in his guard.
Sinclair passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sinclair is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position. Sinclair is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shake Jones dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Dennis Sinclair's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Sinclair closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sinclair has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sinclair prevents Jones from breaking the clinch. Jones breaks the clinch.
Sinclair tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Sinclair fights it but they end up in guard. Sinclair looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
Sinclair has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sinclair looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to control but Sinclair is working from the bottom. Sinclair is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sinclair tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jones misses with a low kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. A bit of stalling here from Jones.
Sinclair on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sinclair is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Shake Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Sinclair. Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Jones tries for a kimura but Sinclair is defending well. Jones advances nicely into full mount.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sinclair gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sinclair postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sinclair tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sinclair's guard. Dennis Sinclair has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sinclair tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sinclair is keeping the position for now. Sinclair working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jones stands and throws Sinclair's legs to the side, diving into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Shake Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
