Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't Get Lost In The Heaven. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ryan Silva enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon's corner calls for a 1-2. Moon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Moon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Moon shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Silva checks a leg kick.
Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moon!
Silva wants to control the pace but Moon is squirming around nicely.

Silva seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Moon is holding on tight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That kick from Moon tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Moon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Moon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Moon tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Moon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
An inside leg kick lands from Silva.
Moon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jason Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Moon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva controls Moon momentarily but Moon frees himself.
Moon wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Moon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Moon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Moon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
BOOM! Moon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Moon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.

Moon looking for a guillotine from mount but Silva is having none of it.
Moon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silva manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Moon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
Moon is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moon loads up with a big shot that hurts Silva! He's pulled Moon in close but Moon has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Silva survive? More strikes from Moon and Silva is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
