Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kenpo throws a head kick but Takeda moves out of range.
Kenpo lands a high kick to the side of Takeda's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kenpo dives into guard, looking to finish.

Kenpo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kenpo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kenpo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kenpo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Kenpo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Takeda lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Takeda scores with a nice short uppercut.
Takeda keeps control of Kenpo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kenpo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Kenpo is trying to break free.
Kenpo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kenpo lands a head kick!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kenpo.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kenpo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Kenpo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kenpo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Takeda's head.
Takeda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

That has opened up Yushin Takeda's cut even more.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kenpo! Takeda is out on his feet! Kenpo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Takeda is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Takeda is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
