Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chakrabongse Bhuvanath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Woodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chakrabongse Bhuvanath! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woodson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bhuvanath on the side of the head. Woodson jabs Bhuvanath right on the nose. Bhuvanath blinks but takes it well. Woodson leaves Bhuvanath with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bhuvanath buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Woodson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Woodson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bhuvanath moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bhuvanath closes the distance and clinches. Woodson stalling.
Bhuvanath changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Woodson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bhuvanath takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Woodson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bhuvanath takes a step back to recover. Woodson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bhuvanath as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodson connects with a looping right hand.
Bhuvanath missing with a left hand there. Woodson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Woodson fails to land with a series of punches.
Woodson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chakrabongse Bhuvanath. That's going to take a lot out of him. Woodson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Woodson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bhuvanath drives through with a takedown into Woodson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bhuvanath trying to control but Woodson is working from the bottom. Woodson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bhuvanath is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Woodson is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bhuvanath wants to stand and escape but instead Woodson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Woodson postures up in Bhuvanath's guard and throws a big left but Bhuvanath blocks it. Woodson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bhuvanath utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bhuvanath trying to keep a closed guard but Woodson is proving a slippery customer.
Woodson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woodson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bhuvanath works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bhuvanath keeping moving, preventing Woodson from controlling successfully. Woodson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bhuvanath has wrist control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bhuvanath has his foot on Woodson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Woodson works his way back into a safe position though. Woodson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Woodson looks gassed! Woodson throwing strikes but missing. Woodson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bhuvanath throws up his legs and catches Woodson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Woodson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bhuvanath! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Chakrabongse Bhuvanath!
