Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Garrett Bisley! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Johnson coming out on top. Bisley throws a left and a right that both miss
and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bisley keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jeremy Johnson just wasn't active enough. Johnson slips a jab from Bisley. Jab from Bisley. Johnson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bisley sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Johnson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. and Johnson counters with a two punch combo. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bisley. Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bisley finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head.

Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bisley throws out the jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johnson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bisley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bisley throws a hook but Johnson blocks it. Bisley shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Johnson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jeremy Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bisley sprawls well. Bisley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson slips a jab from Bisley. Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bisley to the ground. Johnson is now in Bisley's guard. Johnson is fighting to break Bisley's control of his arms but Bisley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. This has been an exciting period of action!

Bisley tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a leg kick. Bisley listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target. Bisley closes the distance but Johnson moves to the side and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Bisley backing up. Bisley nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes. Johnson misses with an uppercut. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bisley, as that shot connected.
Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bisley's half guard. Johnson is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeremy Johnson. Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Bisley. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bisley throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Bisley. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet. Bisley walks into a jab. Johnson slips under a jab. Bisley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bisley misses with a wild combination.

Johnson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Bisley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now. Garrett Bisley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bisley slips nicely into half guard. Jeremy Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson is trying to stand back up but Bisley is controlling him

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Johnson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bisley. Bisley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bisley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
