Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Mcalister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson has chosen Miseria Cantare as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcalister fails with the takedown
and Nelson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nelson.
Mcalister is working for takedown but Nelson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nelson tightens his grip and picks Mcalister up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcalister manages to land in guard.
Nelson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcalister looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcalister looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcalister!
Nelson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mcalister's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Mcalister wants to stand up but Nelson is controlling the position.
Nelson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nelson.
Mcalister is posturing up here but Nelson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mcalister tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mcalister has to tap! Slick submission there by Nelson!

AJ Nelson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
