Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cottontail Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Baratheon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 44 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cottontail Rabbit! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baratheon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rabbit looks gassed! Baratheon decides to take the fight back to the feet. Baratheon gets a takedown into half guard. Baratheon stands up and beckons Rabbit to join him on the feet. Baratheon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rabbit did well to prevent Baratheon getting side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rabbit on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rabbit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Baratheon trying to mount his opponent but Rabbit defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baratheon sitting and controlling from the half guard. Baratheon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rabbit knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Baratheon stands up from half guard. Baratheon clinches up against the cage. Baratheon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Baratheon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rabbit stopping the sweep attempt from Baratheon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baratheon has Rabbit pulled in close to control his posture. Baratheon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rabbit defends well. Rabbit preventing the sweep. Baratheon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baratheon pulls Rabbit in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baratheon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Baratheon is controlling Rabbit's posture. Baratheon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Baratheon controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rabbit is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baratheon performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Baratheon just wasn't active enough. Baratheon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Cottontail Rabbit has been cut. Robert Baratheon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baratheon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Baratheon taking a breather here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Baratheon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Baratheon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cottontail Rabbit's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Baratheon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Baratheon is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rabbit has eaten all the pies! Baratheon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Baratheon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rabbit can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rabbit is breathing heavily. Baratheon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baratheon lands a big elbow.
Rabbit is rocked! Baratheon working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Rabbit is still in real trouble! Can Baratheon finish him? Rabbit is in a horrible position here. Baratheon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Baratheon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rabbit in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rabbit to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Baratheon!
