Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buster Thurst!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries for a takedown but Thurst circles away easily
and Thurst counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Aldo has his takedown stuffed
and Thurst counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Thurst with the ground and pound but Aldo uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Thurst slips nicely into half guard.
Aldo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Thurst.
Aldo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Thurst. Oh but Aldo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Thurst goes limp - he's gone! Aldo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
