Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Brega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Numb. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Brega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Eduardo! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eduardo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Eduardo closes the distance but Brega moves to the side and Brega counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brega. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Brega connects with a couple of short punches. Eduardo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brega manages to get himself to full guard.
Eduardo trying to control but Brega is working from the bottom. Eduardo won't allow Brega to sweep him here. Brega managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eduardo wants to control from the top but Brega keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Eduardo. Eduardo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Eduardo. Eduardo feints and then cracks Brega's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brega down. Eduardo moves into the clinch. Eduardo wants to break free but Brega has control.

Brega working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Eduardo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brega!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brega is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Brega is desperately trying to improve his position but Eduardo has a good base and remains in mount. Brega is squirming around, avoiding Eduardo's attempts to control the action.

Eduardo trying to control but Brega is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Eduardo dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Brega takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Eduardo wants to clinch up but Brega keeps it at a distance. Brega throws an overhand right that lands on Eduardo's shoulder, as Eduardo tries to avoid the shot. Brega circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brega tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eduardo swivels and escapes. Eduardo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Brega counters with a takedown into side control. Brega advances nicely into full mount. Eduardo tries to hold on but Brega pushes him away. Antonio Brega overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brega won't let Eduardo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

It looks like Carlos Eduardo has been cut. BOOM! Brega connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Carlos Eduardo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carlos Eduardo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Antonio Brega! A relieved looking Antonio Brega thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
