Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Ogelsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castiel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Curtis Ogelsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Castiel Silva! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva looks for a takedown but Ogelsby sprawls well. Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ogelsby manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ogelsby fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ogelsby swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Ogelsby. No joy for Silva on that attempt. Ogelsby lands with a slapping head kick. Ogelsby throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silva.
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Castiel Silva has been cut. Ogelsby manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Silva's guard now, I'm sure. Silva is still in real trouble! Can Ogelsby finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva keeping moving, preventing Ogelsby from controlling successfully. Silva seems to have recovered his senses. Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Silva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva stands up and beckons Ogelsby to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Ogelsby or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad. Ogelsby throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head. Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Ogelsby, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Ogelsby against the cage but Ogelsby circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Curtis Ogelsby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Castiel Silva. A right-left combo lands from Silva.
It looks like Curtis Ogelsby has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva misses with a takedown and Ogelsby counters with a low kick, right behind Silva 's knee. A head kick from Ogelsby lands but Silva takes it in his stride. Ogelsby closes the distance and clinches. Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ogelsby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ogelsby shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ogelsby scores a takedown into full mount! Silva wants to control but Ogelsby is having none of it. Silva is trying desperately to improve position. Ogelsby takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ogelsby tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva wants to control but Ogelsby is having none of it. Silva flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Ogelsby punching from mount but Silva doing a good job of avoiding damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ogelsby content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva needs to keep his hands up - Ogelsby had a free shot at his head there. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Ogelsby tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ogelsby manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Silva shoots for a takedown but Ogelsby saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Silva shoots in for a takedown but Ogelsby shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Curtis Ogelsby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Castiel Silva. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ogelsby circles away. Castiel Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ogelsby looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range. Silva closes the distance but Ogelsby moves to the side and Ogelsby counters with a thumping low kick. Ogelsby swinging wildly here.
Silva is breathing heavily. Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ogelsby avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogelsby connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back. Ogelsby connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ogelsby moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ogelsby thuds his shin into the meat of Silva's side. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ogelsby misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ogelsby paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Silva wants to clinch. Ogelsby is looking to clinch. Curtis Ogelsby is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Ogelsby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ogelsby shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well. Silva shoots for a takedown but Ogelsby saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ogelsby looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A combination from Ogelsby does no damage. Ogelsby instigates a clinch. Silva jumps guard but Ogelsby stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Silva tries to pull guard but Ogelsby forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Silva with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Ogelsby manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ogelsby looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ogelsby cracks the inside of Silva's front leg. Ogelsby misses with a few strikes there.
Ogelsby buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A slapping body kick lands there for Ogelsby. Silva shoots for a takedown but Ogelsby saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Curtis Ogelsby is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ogelsby lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Ogelsby thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ogelsby misses with the combination.

He's got hold of a leg but Ogelsby swivels and escapes. Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Ogelsby, before circling back to the center of the mat. Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ogelsby avoids it really well and circles away. Ogelsby throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ogelsby throws a combination. Silva tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Silva shoots in but Ogelsby avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Ogelsby fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Silva dodges the punch combination from Ogelsby.
Ogelsby slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ogelsby leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ogelsby connects with a high kick. Silva takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Silva stuffs the takedown. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ogelsby circles away. Curtis Ogelsby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Castiel Silva.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ogelsby. Ogelsby stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken. Ogelsby lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ogelsby fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Silva on the wrong end of a nice jab. Silva misses with a wild body shot. Ogelsby rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ogelsby chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ogelsby, as that shot connected.
Curtis Ogelsby is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silva wants to clinch but Ogelsby slips to the side and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Silva is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ogelsby is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silva. Some wild striking there from Ogelsby.
Ogelsby uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Ogelsby showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.

Ogelsby misses with the combination.

Ogelsby dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard. Ogelsby is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around? Ogelsby wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva pulls Ogelsby in close to prevent any damage. Castiel Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ogelsby defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Curtis Ogelsby showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ogelsby has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
