PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Starship Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ignatious Hashisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Decisive Battle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Starship Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ignatious Hashisha!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain dives in and grabs Hashisha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hashisha pushes down on Pain's head and hops out.
Nice sprawl there from Hashisha as Pain shoots in.
Hashisha throws a body punch but Pain moves out of range.

Hashisha gets tackled into the cage by Pain. Pain maintains the clinch.
Hashisha wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pain lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hashisha or not.
Pain lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hashisha blocking some punches.
Hashisha wants to break free but Pain has control.
Hashisha blocks an uppercut.
Pain tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A nice left hand lands by Pain.
Pain scores with a shoulder strike.
A left hand lands to the body for Pain.

A right hand to the body from Pain.
Hashisha looks gassed!
Pain scores with a nice hook to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Pain.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A short body shot lands from Pain as the two fighters clinch.
Pain scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hashisha gets underhooks to prevent Pain's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Starship Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pain.

Pain has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hashisha regains guard immediately.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pain pushes down on Hashisha's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Pain is looking for a kimura but Hashisha is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pain to get the leverage.

Pain working the head and body with strikes.
Pain scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Pain is nestled in close to Hashisha, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hashisha's head.
Pain frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pain with a couple of short strikes.
Hashisha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pain has control of Hashisha's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hashisha regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pain softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Hashisha is out cold! Pain jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
