Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez comes into the arena with PAIN blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Gomez wants to clinch

Killer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Killer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Killer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gomez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Killer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Killer has his foot on Gomez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gomez works his way back into a safe position though.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gomez, as that shot connected.
Killer shoots in for a takedown but Gomez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Killer shoots for a double leg takedown but Gomez sprawls well. He's pushed Killer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A head kick misses from Killer.

Gomez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Killer, pushing him back against the cage.

Killer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gomez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Killer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Killer slaps away a takedown attempt from Gomez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Killer shoots in looking for a takedown but Gomez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Killer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I would just about give that final round to Chris Killer.
Well Killer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
