Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mehman Ibrahimov!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibrahimov gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ibrahimov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ibrahimov is keeping the position for now.
Silva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ibrahimov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ibrahimov has escaped and now he's on top!
Ibrahimov is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him.
Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ibrahimov manages to get himself to full guard.
Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ibrahimov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva stands and steps away. Ibrahimov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva feints and as Ibrahimov raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Ibrahimov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ibrahimov manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Ibrahimov's guard.
Silva postures up in Ibrahimov's guard and throws a big left but Ibrahimov blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ibrahimov is working an open guard so Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ibrahimov blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ibrahimov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

The ground and pound from Silva seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Silva tries for a kimura but Ibrahimov is defending well.
Silva tries to advance position but instead Ibrahimov slips a leg back in to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ibrahimov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ibrahimov did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
Ibrahimov is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
Silva moves into full mount! Ibrahimov won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Ibrahimov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
