Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Ericsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Albertini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franz Ericsson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Franz Ericsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Francesco Albertini! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ericsson fails with a takedown attempt. Albertini throws a series of punches but Ericsson moves out of range. Albertini misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ericsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Albertini tries to sprawl out of it but Ericsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Albertini manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ericsson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franz Ericsson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ericsson misses with a double jab
and Albertini counters with a three punch combo that has Ericsson backing up. Ericsson nods at Albertini to acknowledge the strikes. Ericsson is breathing heavily. Left hook, right uppercut from Albertini.
Albertini drives through and clinches with Ericsson against the cage.

Albertini gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ericsson regains guard.
Albertini is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Albertini tries to free his leg and advance position but Ericsson is retaining full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Albertini is pushing down on Ericsson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ericsson is fighting to maintain full guard but Albertini has managed to sneak the leg through.
Albertini seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ericsson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Francesco Albertini!
