Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes to the cage accompanied by Busters Back. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long misses with a low kick.
Long closes the distance and clinches.
Long throws a head punch that misses.
Long misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cherry.
Long lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cherry backwards.

Cherry is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Long has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Long!
Cherry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cherry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cherry is looking to wear down Long with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The fighters circle momentarily. Cherry darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Cherry shoots in looking for a takedown but Long manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cherry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Long. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Cherry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Long's face.

The cut above Miles Long's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cherry postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Long in real trouble here! The ref calls for Long to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Buster Cherry bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
