Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Feytosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McConaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McConaha misses with the combination.
Feytosa wants to clinch. Feytosa tries to close the distance and clinch but McConaha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McConaha circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McConaha is defended easily by Feytosa. Feytosa moves in looking to clinch but McConaha pushes him off. Feytosa scores with a kick to the body.

McConaha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Feytosa! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McConaha looking to control but Feytosa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Feytosa tries to buck McConaha off but he can't manage it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. McConaha forces the positional change into back control. Feytosa is trying to stand back up. McConaha tightening his grip on Feytosa, looking for the choke. Feytosa defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McConaha throwing sloppy strikes. Feytosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McConaha on the ground. Feytosa is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Feytosa has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Oooh a big shot gets through from McConaha. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
McConaha controls the action. McConaha missing with strikes from the back. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
John McConaha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mauricio Feytosa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Feytosa has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
